• help women living with breast cancer understand that they can lead full, active lives despite the physical limitations imposed by this disease
• improve the quality of life for women living with breast cancer while research is being done to find a cure
• raise public awareness about breast cancer
• promote and support local Canadian Cancer Societies

We carefully direct all possible funds where we feel it will have the most positive impact.
   
 

BREAST CANCER
Although much more common among women, breast cancer is a disease that strikes men and women alike. And it is increasing:

Estimated Resulting Deaths in 2007 - 5,400

One in nine Canadian women develop breast cancer. It is the leading cause of death for women between the ages 35 and 54.
